Camping and walking in the hills!

We went for our annual visit to Crookstone Barn in the peak district. Lots of games, walks and a really lovely time as always. It is an absolute joy to witness all the children interact with each other at camp each year. The walks were a lot of fun, we accomplished our normal climb of Winhill, climbing up the far side of the hill is always fun, watching the childrens reaction multiple times as they believe they can see the sumit, before realising there is more to go... again and again.

We did not get good fortune with the weather, with high winds and rain showers throughout the weekend. That did not stop out enjoyment of the weekend. Camp was a massive hit, as ever. We just played more board games and indoor than we would have in previous years.
